Discovering Marketing MR1100

This is my first blog entry as a requirement of MR1100 Marketing at I thought that a good way to measure my success would be to take a look back at different websites that I have utilized in creating my own brand. Facebook has proven to be an excellent marketing tool for my business. I started this page on June 24, 2013 with one of my most successful prints to date, the Cape Spear Lighthouse. It's an iconic image and still one of my favorites, I selected this one for its timeless nature and one that I thought would hold a universal appeal. Facebook has also proven to be my biggest source for new clients and an excellent source for referrals. It provides the opportunity for potential clients to view my portfolio and read my reviews. I have found that this has been the single most important page for me to maintain and they make it so easy and affordable!
Enclosed with this Cape Spear Lighthouse print is a little background information, clients seem to appreciate the added touch and it provides a framework for the piece.
The Cape Spear Lighthouse is a treasured National Historic Site, located 12 kilometers outside of St.John's, Newfoundland and Labrador on the most Easterly point of Canada. Originally constructed in 1836, this lighthouse safely lit our shoreline for many seafaring folk over the years.
